Anne Frank in the World Exhibition

The “Anne Frank in the World” exhibit brought attention to human rights issues. Bay Area Action hosted this international exhibit at the Menlo Park Recreation Center and organized field trips for local schools to visit the exhibit, drawing over 7,000 students and 10,000 visitors overall.

Events

Cornelis Suijk, director of the Anne Frank Center in New York, travelled to California for the exhibit opening; he spoke at a meeting at BAA headquarters, and at a reception for the exhibit opening in early October 1990.

2025 updates

The Anne Frank House in Amsterdam has continued its educational outreach for decades, updating and expanding the 1990s traveling exhibit and offering several others in the US and beyond.

A new version of the Anne Frank Exhibition debuted in New York in 2025, featuring a full-scale replica of the Secret Annex.
