The LWP focused on making it easy for BAA members, volunteers, and members of the public to turn the power of the pen to their advantage, whatever the cause. Michael Tiemann, founder and president of Cygnus Support (an upstart free software company in Mountain View), lent his experience in innovative communication as the projects’ first coordinator.
