Bio

Diane Choplin came to BAA after three years in Niger with the Peace Corps, and was BAA’s Education Programs Coordinator from 1997 to 1999, overseeing the YEA! program and the High Schools Group.

Post BAA

Diane lives in Ashland, Oregon, with her son Jacob and a menagerie of animals, where she runs Bel Avenir Farm (including an Airbnb), works with Oregon State University’s Small Farms Education Program, and tries to keep her sheep out of trouble.

An accomplished documentary photographer, she served on the faculty and administration of the Academy of Art University for nearly 20 years.
